Akademi’s meaning is Meaning of Odisha Sahitya Akademi
This includes the Sunday holiday. But the day of the meeting and the day of the notice are not included in it.
The General Council, the Executive Council, the Finance Committee, the Council, the Board, the Committees, and the Standing Committee, respectively, are the authorities of the Akademi.
The President and Secretary shall be the President and Secretary of the Akademi respectively.

2. Treasurer-cum-Finance Advisor
The State Government shall appoint a Treasurer-cum-Finance Vice-President of the Akademi who shall hold office for such period as may be determined by the State Government.
It shall be the duty of the Treasurer-cum-Advisor to prepare the budget and present it to the Finance Committee by 1st November of every year and thereafter to place the recommendations of the Finance Committee before the Executive Council at the earliest before 15th November of every year and before 15th December of every year before the General Council.
